W.E.T. GmbH specializes in water treatment systems using ultrafiltration. This technology enables efficient water treatment with minimal environmental and energy costs. Its principle is to use filters with pore sizes smaller than bacteria and viruses that will not pass through the sieve. Currently ultrafiltration cleans the water, for example, with a polar bear at the Copenhagen Zoo or an elephant at the Zurich Zoo. In 2004, the company also supported tsunami victims in Indonesia, where this technology provided drinking water. |
